I am Charles Barnes; Software developer specializing in frontend development and typescript with a penchant for UI. Ever since I tried out Github Copilot back in 2021 I’ve been enamored with AI related tools. I wouldn’t necessarily say I am some AI wizard or pro, I just like using it to accelerate delivery of high quality stable work.

When I started my main blog I imagined that I would make more contributions. As of mid 2026, there has been a long dry spell since I’ve contributed anything. Not from lack of writing mind you - I’ve just been stuck trying to distill all of my thoughts and learnings from using llm powered tools and agents for a few years now. The field is just evolving so fast, so I figured I wanted an outlet with a fancy new domain to contain all of my posts.

I promise that every article written on any of my blogs are fully human authored. On this blog specifically I have even disabled spellcheck. I fully believe that if I expect a human to put effort into reading one of my posts, that I should pay that energy back with my own manual effort.
